Hardstyle Republic was previously known as Hardsequence back in 2006 until February 2007 and later changed their group name to Hardstyle Republic after confusion caused with Hardsequence itself as it is also an event’s name. They were also flamed and mocked by the Negative Minded Melbourne Shufflers for calling themselves as the event’s representative and all the negative comments.It served them right for mocking the group because after they changed their name to Hardstyle Republic, it sounds even cooler and they had eventually got very famous after that. They were champion in a enormous International Dance Festival organized by Time Square KL and by using their new name, Hardstyle Republic.
